The territory

The flat view that can be seen from the north side of the building overlooks Poggio Mirabello, Luvigliano and Villa dei Vescovi, and beyond the hills, the distant peaks of the Venetian Pre-Alps.

This area, included in the Regional Parks system, finds its essential motivation precisely in the uniqueness of the places and their unique hydrogeomorphological characteristics in the Veneto and in the consequent need to ensure protection, safeguarding both the natural and the man-made aspects, expression of its culture and traditions.

The vegetation of the hilly landscape is an element of great interest for its diverse flora. Naturalistic trails, suitable for walking or cycling, are numerous, but even walks along the “small paths” of the fields and vineyards, provide reasons to enjoy the serenity and charm of the places.

The Terra Euganea

The artistic and architectural heritage has been handed down with care and respect to the present day: from the Roman civilization to the Medieval era of Villages, Abbeys and Hermitages; from the Renaissance civilization of the Signorie to that of the Venetian Villas, as well as the complex of heritage consisting of rural buildings, an integral part of the hilly Euganean landscape.

For those who love contemplation and the most intimate sensations, for those who seek the changing beauty of the seasons and are moved by letting their gaze wander in distant horizons, for those who thirst for culture and emotions: the Euganean Land offers.

“All is harmony, serenity, sweetness, thoughtful chromatism, the same rows of vineyards, placed with wise abundance, follow in their going the lines of the hill, going down and bending, as the curvature calls; not preeminent, nor more hidden. As would the staves on the music paper designed for the wind to play its arias with endless harmonic variations.”
